Description
Carbon dioxide CO2 is an essential element in the plant life-cycle. Through the biochemical process of photosynthesis CO2 and water (in the presence of light-energy) are transformed into carbohydrates, which are the basis for the plant growth. The average concentration of CO2 in the air is about 340 ppm, several studies show that crops improve better growth by increasing this amount to 600-1000 ppm during daylight hours. There are two types of carbon fertilization: atmospheric high-pressure bottles and gas dispensers or carbonic fertilisation by adding CO2 tablets into the irrigation water. The advantages of using CO2 tablets is the most effective way providing CO2 in your irrigation water and there is no need for a storage of bottle or gasification equipment.
